Two Teams, One Mission

The Fox School of Business offers academic advising services to help you make informed decisions about your education, career path, and personal and professional life at Temple University. You’ll work collaboratively with the Fox School advising team to develop a plan for your academic success, utilize campus resources, and engage in a process that will positively impact your growth and achievement.

There are two advising teams dedicated to working with you

Freshman and Sophomore Division

Proactive and collaborative advising focused on the transition to college life, major exploration in the Fox School, and successful completion of the lower foundation coursework. freshmen and sophomores can meet with any freshman/sophomore advisor.

Junior and Senior Division

Major-specialized advising focused on ensuring students are making satisfactory progress in their major, have completed their graduation audit prior to their final semester, and are prepared to graduate. Junior and senior students are assigned a personal advisor based on their declared major, and meet with that assigned advisor.


The Center for Undergraduate Advising provides advising at three campuses: Main, Ambler, and Center City (TUCC). The Main Campus office is open every weekday. The offices at the Ambler and Center City campuses are open on select days and evenings.

Peer Advising

The Center provides peer advising on Main Campus, comprised of undergraduate peer advisors recruited from among the best and brightest in the Fox School. Peer advisors provide the perspective of an upper-class student and will assist you by sharing their knowledge and personal strategies for academic success. Contact a Fox Peer Advisor at

Office of the Ombudsperson

The Fox School ombudsperson resolves problems and conflicts that you may experience. He or she acts as a mediator between faculty and students, and promotes alternatives to more formal processes. The ombudsperson supports effective communication, cooperation, equity, and civility in all academic and scholastic settings. If you believe you’ve been treated unfairly in an academic matter, please meet with the appropriate ombudsperson.
