The 1810 Accelerator

The 1810 Accelerator provides a place for the Temple University entrepreneurial community to share knowledge, experience, and connections that support the identification and evolution of new business ideas, and accelerate the growth of their early stage ventures. Accelerator membership is open to students, alumni, faculty, and staff from all 17 schools and colleges at the University.

Accelerator Membership

1810 Accelerator membership-at-large includes access to the 1810 Accelerator space. Students may use the space to work on their business ideas, collaborate with fellow entrepreneurs, reserve conference rooms for meetings, and enjoy available resources from the library and creativity lab. Members also have access to members-only events including Toolbox workshops that provide education on entrepreneurial skills, networking events, speaker events, and other programs created to support members’ entrepreneurial projects and ventures.

Members are also eligible to apply to the Startup Studio accelerator program. Read on for more information about Startup Studio.

Startup Studio

Startup Studio is the official accelerator program run by the 1810 Accelerator and accepts a cohort each Fall, Spring, and Summer. Members of each cohort complete a twelve-week curriculum constructed to accelerate the growth of their ventures and provide the necessary resources to move through the fund and launch process. Startup Studio culminates in a Demo Day where companies have the opportunity to pitch to potential mentors, investors, and industry professionals who can provide support based on unique company needs.
