Undergraduate Peer Writing Tutors

The Business Communication Center hires Temple University undergraduate students throughout the year. The BCC focuses on business writing – writing that is clear, concise, compelling, and persuasive. Our Peer Writing Tutors receive training on tutoring and in business writing and may come from different disciplines.

Responsibilities
  • Gain valuable mentoring and tutoring experience
  • Gain in-depth knowledge in professional and business-style writing
  • Work 10 hours per week (flexible schedules)
  • Work in a fun and professional work environment
Skills/Qualifications
  • Excellent writing and analytical skills (you must pass our Peer Writing Tutor Applicant Writing Test)
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • A track record of demonstrating responsibility and reliability
  • Ability to commit to working for the Center for at least 2 semesters
