Biography

Steve Sclarow first joined Temple University’s Fox School of Business as an adjunct professor of Management Information Systems in 2016. He joined the school as a full time Assistant Professor in January 2017. Steve has taught multiple sections of Information Systems in Organizations, Digital Design & Innovation, Design Thinking and Process Improvement & Innovation.

Before joining Temple, Steve spent the previous 20 years of his professional experience in the Architectural Design and Construction Industry. He is a Project Manager, Architect, Business Development Leader and Professor with extensive experience in the design and delivery of sports, entertainment, and educational, healthcare, museum and performing arts facilities for clients across the United States. Steve has a significant background in infrastructure, directing all project phases from conception through completion of construction, coordinating with contractors as well as partnering with engineering and specialty consultants. He has extensive experience in construction risk management for a variety of property types. He engages in an innate sense of creativity to design aesthetically attractive, architecturally strong, utilitarian spaces. Steve has an established reputation for excellence with high project profitability and ROI for investors. Steve keeps his skills and architectural licenses current with an active consulting practice in addition to teaching in the undergraduate, graduate and MBA programs.
