Heather Kennedy
Tourism and Sport


Heather Kennedy is a PhD student in business administration at Temple University’s Fox School of Business and School of Sport, Tourism and Hospitality Management. Heather joined the program as a Presidential Fellow in 2016. Her research interests include consumer behavior, information systems and marketing. Specifically, she focuses on how digital consumer experiences are affected by technology to optimize advertising, consumer satisfaction and consumer engagement. Prior to Temple University, Heather completed a bachelor of commerce with a concentration in information systems at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada. Her current research interests are influenced by her experience working to develop information tools and systems as well as consumers’ receptions of technology.
