The Responsible Business Institute (RBI) creates opportunities for students, scholars, and executives to engage with the interconnected pillars of responsible business: ethics and compliance, inclusion, workplace culture and sustainability. Through creation of courses, research sponsorship, convening of conferences, speaker events and networking opportunities, RBI engages students, faculty and industry professionals in important conversations in the evolving landscape of modern organizations.

We are driven to support research that moves the needle on our core pillars. RBI supports this work through research awards that encourage innovative, interdisciplinary scholarship with real-world organizational impact. We facilitate collaboration across schools, ensuring that insight can be shared. Our mission foundation is grounded in the belief that healthy organizations are built on our core pillars. RBI brings together industry leaders, government officials and academics to engage in these important conversations.

Our Pillars

Our Goals

Educate Leaders

Support Industry-Driven Research

Connect industry professionals, government officials and scholars to identify research questions and promote faculty research that impacts ethics and compliance, inclusion and sustainability in the workplace.

Instruct Students

Teach Fox and STHM students about systemic racism, implicit bias and other forms of discrimination through experiential education, public events and curricular innovations.

Build Connections Between Students and Industry
