The Alliance of Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) is the mid-Atlantic region’s largest organization dedicated to fostering high-growth businesses founded or led by women. They will be hosting the 5th Annual We Own It Summit on May 1st-2nd.
The We Own It Summit is a dynamic gathering of leaders committed to advancing the leadership and participation of women in high growth businesses. The 2010 inaugural We Own It Summit declared 2010-2020 the “Decade of the Woman Entrepreneur”, establishing clear goals to increase the number of women investors, the number of women high-growth entrepreneurs, the likelihood of success of business (in the growth stage), and to place more women on public and private boards of directors.
Attendees include entrepreneurs, investors, and leaders of organizations and institutions advocating, promoting, accelerating and researching women’s participation in high-growth entrepreneurship.
