Yujie Ma is a Ph.D. Candidate in Accounting at the Fox School of Business at Temple University and is on the academic job market for the 2026–2027 hiring cycle. Her research interests are in archival financial accounting, with a particular focus on corporate disclosure and the production, communication, and use of accounting information. Her work examines contemporary issues in non-GAAP reporting, regulation, sustainability, and financial statement assurance. She is also interested in using artificial intelligence and machine learning to address accounting questions involving unstructured or difficult-to-obtain data. 

Yujie teaches Cost Accounting at Temple University and has received strong student evaluations. Prior to her doctoral studies, she worked for one year as an internal auditor, where she gained professional experience in internal controls, financial reporting, and operational auditing. She earned a Master of Accounting from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business and a B.A. in Accounting from Western Washington University.
