Xinyue (Gina) Zhao holds a Master’s degree in Engineering Management from Cornell University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nottingham, China. Her research lies at the intersection of quantitative marketing, causal machine learning, and generative AI. She develops data-driven methods to understand how high-dimensional and unstructured content, particularly language and emotional attributes, causally influences consumer engagement. Her current work focuses on using large language model representations and causal inference methods to address high-dimensional confounding and generate actionable insights for digital content optimization. She is broadly interested in developing scalable AI-driven approaches that improve marketing effectiveness while supporting responsible decision-making.
