Biography
Thomas Intoccia is an Associate Professor of Practice at the Fox School of Business in the Department of Finance. An alumnus of Fox, Dr. Intoccia returned to Temple in 2019 to teach the next generation of financial planners, advisors, and future business leaders. Dr. Intoccia instructs the Capstone Seminar in Financial Planning, Insurance Benefits & Retirement Planning, and Investing for the Future. In 2025, he was named the recipient of the Andrisani-Frank Undergraduate Teaching and Service Award.
With 29 years of experience in the financial services industry, Dr. Intoccia served as Senior Divisional VP at Charles Schwab, leading a division of Schwab Advisor Services from 2013 to 2019. In his 13-year tenure as a senior leader at Schwab, Dr. Intoccia had the unique opportunity to be part of the evolution of the multi-trillion-dollar registered investment advisor (RIA) industry. Dr. Intoccia and his team of managing directors, relationship managers, and business & technology consultants worked with thousands of advisory firms to help them grow, compete, and succeed in a competitive marketplace.
Dr. Intoccia earned his EdD from Drexel University, MBA from Regis University, and BBA from Temple University. He holds both the Chartered Financial Consultant and Chartered Life Underwriter designations from The American College of Financial Services.
