Steve currently runs SDL Real Estate Consulting, an affordable housing consulting business focused in the Mid-Atlantic Region. He has more than 18 years of experience in affordable housing as a developer and developer consultant. His experience includes workforce, affordable, mixed income and mixed-use housing. His clients include for-profit and nonprofit developers, real estate investors, churches and other non-profit organizations. He also assists developers in raising equity for Opportunity Zone developments.

In addition to affordable housing, he also is a licensed Pennsylvania Realtor. His prior experience includes serving as a Vice President of Development, Southeast Region for Michaels Development, a Marlton, N.J., national developer. In addition, he served as a Senior Manager with D.C.-based Chapman Development and a manager with CohnReznick’s Bethesda-based Real Estate Transactions Group. Steve is a Philadelphia native who holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and master’s degree in taxation from Temple University.
