Jing Yan (who also goes by Jing or Jerry) is a first-year PhD student in Finance. Prior to joining Temple University, he completed his MSc in Finance at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and earned a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics from Hong Kong Baptist University. His current research interests include empirical corporate finance and behavioral finance. Outside of academics, Jing enjoys playing basketball, playing the clarinet, and listening to hip-hop music.
