Debra was founder and president of Debra Malinics Advertising (DMA), a marketing, design and communications firm, for 45 years. During that time, Debra received numerous honors including Woman of the Year, Who’s Who of Executive Women, Professional Women and Women in Advertising, nomination as Woman Business Owner of the Year, honored with the Outstanding Business Achiever Award, named a Woman of Distinction, and a Woman to Watch. DMA was named a Top 50 Women-Owned Business in Pennsylvania and listed as a Top 20 Branding and Marketing agency for more than 20 years. Under her guidance, DMA garnered more than 350 regional and national awards for creative excellence. Debra has published numerous articles related to advertising and marketing, and is a frequent lecturer and public speaker on business topics. She has taught advertising and design at colleges and universities, served as judge in graphic and creative competitions and is active in mentoring. She is also an entrepreneurial mentor with Drexel University’s Baiada Institute for Entrepreneurship. Debra served as a business volunteer for the arts, working with nonprofit and cultural organizations to build brand and improve marketplace awareness.
