Cindy Saladin-Muhammad serves as lead business consultant for strategy design/execution and process improvement at Merck. She is responsible for delivering strategic business results and leading corporate-wide process improvement and innovation efforts.

Cindy is a U.S. Army Colonel, Environmental Sciences and Engineering Officer, where she serves as commander, chief of staff and deputy commander of administration of brigade and hospital size elements. She is responsible for the leadership of soldiers, civilians and major commands in support of mission readiness and execution. Additionally, Cindy serves as key senior advisor to commanders and staffs as it pertains to professional and scientific work in environmental health, industrial hygiene and environmental/sanitary engineering, utilizing environmental health engineering principles and practices.

Previously, Cindy served in the Westchester County Departments of Laboratories and Research as a forensic scientist/forensic toxicologist, where she was responsible for analyzing biological samples and non-biological samples for the presence of controlled substances.

Cindy holds a BS in toxicology from Rutgers University, an MBA from the University of Phoenix and an MA from the U.S. Army War College. She is also a Six Sigma master black belt and executive belt, a resiliency coach and an instructor for the U.S. Army.
