Ben Hosford joins the PhD program at the Fox Business School with a concentration in Sport, Tourism, and Hospitality Management. He joins from London, UK having earned a BA in Mass Communication and an MS in Sport Management from Louisiana State University as well as spending two years working in partnership management for a global esports events company. His primary research interest is understanding the esports audience and their path to fandom. Outside of academics, Ben is a FA qualified football (soccer) referee back home in England.
