Jim Thompson is a member of CARD as our Industry Liaison. He is also an assistant professor in the Department of Marketing and Supply Chain Management. After graduating from the Temple’s Fox School of Business in 1976, Jim held a number of positions in Sales and Brand Management at the Quaker Oats Company. As the global CEO of the French marketing research firm Ipsos ASI, a leading advertising and communications research company, he helped the company more than tripled in size, growing into the second largest globally. It was during this period that Jim took an interest in neuromarketing as a technique to better understand how consumers respond to marketing communications. As a member of CARD, Jim provides experience, insight and connections into the marketing industry.
