Biography

Bruce Fadem retired as CIO for Wyeth in November 2005, where he was responsible for providing information technology strategic direction to the corporation and managing the corporation’s global IT business application solution and shared services operations units. Bruce joined Wyeth in September 1995 as Head of Information Technology for the Pharmaceutical Domestic Commercial Operating division. Prior to joining Wyeth, Bruce spent 12 years with BankAmerica Corporation in a variety of senior information technology positions including Head of Worldwide Application Development, Head of Worldwide Technology Development and Deployment, and Retail Bank CIO. From 1971 to 1983, Bruce was employed by First Pennsylvania Bank N.A., where he served as CIO from 1978 to 1983. Since retirement, Bruce has been providing advisory assistance to various technology services companies. He is Chairman of Temple University Fox School of Business IT Advisory Board, and Editor-in-Chief for its Institute for Business and Information Technology (IBIT) report.
