The OWLympiad Math Competition is an annual event held on Temple’s campus. Students working with their classmates solve fun and interesting math problems and compete against other area high schools. Attendees also learn about the fascinating field of Actuarial Science, a discipline and career which integrates mathematics with business.

Competition Rules
- All student participants must be in their Junior year of High School
- 4 students per team
- 1-2 teams per school (2 teams depends on space availability)
- All teams must be accompanied by a teacher, faculty member, administrator, parent, or guardian
- Temple requires chaperones/teachers to submit their state clearance forms in advance of the competition
Competition Format
- Registration from 9:00 am – 10:00 am
- Speakers, Competition, and Pizza lunch from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
- Multiple-choice and written-answer exam to be completed as a team
