The OWLympiad Math Competition is an annual event held on Temple’s campus. Students working with their classmates solve fun and interesting math problems and compete against other area high schools. Attendees also learn about the fascinating field of Actuarial Science, a discipline and career which integrates mathematics with business. 

There is no fee for registration and attendance!

Competition Rules

  • All student participants must be in their Junior year of High School
  • 4 students per team
  • Maximum of 2 teams per school
  • All teams must be accompanied by a teacher, faculty member, administrator, parent, or guardian

Competition Format

  • Registration from 9:00 am – 10:00 am
  • Speakers, Competition, and Pizza lunch from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
  • Multiple-choice and written-answer exam to be completed as a team
