Robert A. Hedges Seminar Series

Each semester, the Department of Risk, Actuarial Science, Healthcare Management, and Legal Studies (RAHLS) curates the Robert A. Hedges Seminar Series, which brings distinguished faculty into Fox to present their newest research and visit with our faculty and students. Our seminar series is named after Robert A. Hedges, a former professor in the department and a past president of the American Risk and Insurance Association (ARIA).

Below is a list of our current and past seminar series speakers (tracked as of Fall 2026). All seminars run 2-3:15pm ET unless otherwise noted. If you're interested in learning more about the Hedges series or getting on the email list for all events, please reach out to Dr. Tyler Welch, Assistant Professor in the RAHLS department: .
