Employees and job seekers are being more intentional in their search for employment. People are looking for more than just compensation.

Bucky Fairfax, DBA ‘21, and colleagues found in their research that the three most important preferred employer attributes were people, organizational purpose, and opportunity for career growth and development.

They also found differences across generations regarding preferred employer attributes and a willingness to accept lower pay in exchange for attractive job qualities.
