Agile Leadership Workshop

Agile Leadership

About the Workshop

The New World of Work
Today’s unprecedented business challenges provide a unique opportunity for emerging leaders to step up and help their organizations respond to these disruptions. The Agile Leadership Workshop at Temple University’s Fox School of Business will provide emerging leaders with the experience, capabilities and tools to design and lead successful transformation and change programs.

This two-day interactive workshop will allow participants to

  • Gain practical experience putting agile and leadership practices together.
  • Develop a business case to gain support and then continue to drive executive engagement.
  • Design and lead agile transformation projects.
  • Implement effective change programs.

Facilitators Steve Hart and Wayne Tarken bring a combined 35-plus years of experience to this two-day workshop. Drawing from their roles as executive coaches and adjunct professors with years of experience in human resources and informational technology, Hart and Tarken will
share key practices they have utilized to help emerging leaders be more successful and achieve the results they want.

Moving from the theoretical to the practical, participants will learn research-based agile tactics to improve the way they work, agile leadership strategies to improve the way they lead and then combine them into practical applications they can use inside their organizations.

The Agile Leadership Workshop is composed of four modules:

  • Trends and Disruptions in the 4th Industrial Age: An overview of current landscape, impact of disruptions and a business case for change.
  • EBIT2DA: Seven key agile HR practices designed to improve the way work gets done.
  • Strategic Leadership: Ten key strategic leadership practices focused on leading employees in an agile way.
  • Case Studies: Exercises will use both EBIT2DA and strategic leadership practices in practical situations to gain real world experiences and capabilities.

The best candidates for this workshop are those who are emerging leaders throughout an organization in various functions and who have a desire for growth and improvement.
