Pennsylvania Digital Transformation and eCommerce Program


Our missions is to empower small businesses to:

  • Transform business to increase revenue or sustain operations online (e.g., digital storefront, web, or social presence)
  • Empower small business owners with training and tools to identify, use, and manipulate digital tools (e.g., create and manage eCommerce presence)
  • Assist small business owners to configure, integrate, and enhance existing systems with easy to use open source cloud based digital tools (e.g., connect retail POS with eCommerce)

PADTEP Services include, but are not limited to:

  • Digital Literacy courses to teach business owners digital best practices
  • Website Audit, Design, and Creation Services through our Digital Connect program
  • eCommerce Consulting, where specialists will guide small businesses in evaluating different platforms available and help clients make the best choice for the business
  • Cyber Security webinars and in-person classes on basic cyber security awareness, payment security, and personal data security. 
  • Digital Marketing webinars and no-cost consulting services to teach small businesses how to leverage social media and SEO

Cooperative Agreement

The Temple SBDC is partially funded by a grant from the Department of Community & Economic Development and by the U.S. Small Business Administration under Cooperative Agreement No. 4-603001-Z-0040-24. Funding Partners


Funding support and resources are provided by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania through the Department of Community & Economic Development; through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration; and in part through support from Temple University.  All services are extended to the public on a non-discriminatory basis.
