BIPOC Leadership

Created in response to the need for effective professional leadership development training that also centers BIPOC employees’ experiences and unique challenges in the workplace, the BIPOC Leadership Series will prepare high-performing individuals for promotion into management and executive roles.

Across three, full-day sessions participants will hear from leading faculty and subject matter experts affiliated with the Fox School, spend significant time in breakout sessions discussing and learning from each other, and develop a support system to boost their careers.

All sessions will be held via Zoom on Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with 1 hour for lunch from noon to 1 p.m.

What to Expect

The BIPOC Leadership Series moves participants through a progression of half-day modules targeting high-impact skills and discussions necessary for leadership and business growth. These modules are led by an array of Fox faculty and subject matter experts whose lived experiences reflect those of the program participants.

The series is ideal for individuals who are being considered for higher level managerial or director roles and above, and who have been identified as future leaders by their organizations. Participants will leave the series with well-honed skills in strong communication, effective negotiation and confident leadership. In addition, the unique opportunity to regularly network with other professionals will help leverage participants’ potential for career advancement.

Digital Badge

Participants who complete the series by attending at least four of the six modules will receive a Digital Badge of Completion from Temple University, suitable for adding to a resume and sharing via social media. The digital badge is an excellent way to showcase your active engagement in the BIPOC Leadership Series.

Program Investment

The investment required to attend this three-day, six-session series is $1,950 per registrant. An early registration price of $1,750 is available through September 11, 2023.
