Graduate candidates must have a bachelor’s degree and a minimum 3.0 GPA to apply.

In addition to a completed application, prospective students must also supply the following supporting materials.

Supporting Materials

  • Work Experience: Although no specific courses are required for admission consideration, applicants to the Executive MBA program are expected to have approximately 10 years of professional experience, with five to seven years of managerial experience.
  • Letters of Recommendation: Contact information for references may be submitted through the online Application Portal. References may then complete our electronic form or upload their own letters of recommendation.
  • Statement of Goals: Two statements are required. An optional statement can also be submitted.
    • Leadership: Please describe an incident from your personal experiences that typifies your definition of leadership. Specifically address collaboration, diversity, ethics and motivation.
    • Goals: Describe how you would expect to change over the course of the program. What personal and professional values and skills do you hope to acquire beyond academic content? How will obtaining the degree help you achieve your career goals?
  • Interview: Candidates may be interviewed after submission of their application. Interviews may occur in person or through video conference. If an interview is scheduled, on-site interviews are strongly recommended so that applicants can visit Temple University and the Fox School to tour the facilities and meet the Executive MBA faculty.
  • Transcripts: Submit official transcripts from every college and university you have attended. Request a transcript from Temple University.
  • Standardized Test Scores: The GMAT and/or GRE are required, but may be waived for applicants who hold a JD, MD or other doctoral degree. For the Executive MBA program, GMAT scores may also be waived based on prior academics and/or technical and professional experience. For all other students, official scores must be reported from a GMAT test taken within the last five years.
