Yasmine Mustafa, BBA ’07, is transforming the world into a safer, more empowering place for women.
While running her first company, a Philadelphia-based blog advertising agency, Yasmine’s biggest challenge was working in a technological space without tech knowledge. Instead of problem-solving at an individual level, Mustafa founded the Philadelphia chapter of GirlDevelopIt, an international organization that provides affordable web and software development programs for women.
Mustafa has made a habit of that practice: leveraging personal experience and the experiences of others to inspire business decisions. Today, she is the CEO of ROAR for Good, a company whose mission is to decrease violence against women with safety accessories, mobile technology and educational programs. She is also on the advisory board of TechGirlz and CodedbyKids.
