Temple University Alumni weekend welcomed the newest class of 2017 graduates to elder Owls, ranging from Philadelphia urbanites to international grads who visited from abroad. Every summer, Owls return to the nest and reunite with old friends, learn about new campus developments, and rediscover their Temple pride.
Hosted on the second weekend of June, the celebrations swept over main campus. Happy hours, seminars, and reunions were spread out throughout the weekend of festivities.
Back for its third year in a row, Dîner en Cherry is a giant dinner party held in a secret location on campus. Everyone dressed in their Cherry and White, gathered around the Iron Gates on the corner of Broad and Polett Walk to wait for the location to be revealed. The event was held in the Tyler School of Art, and was filled with a night of food, drinks, and dancing. Despite a damp start to the weekend, the weather cleared for a picture-perfect Saturday night sunset.
