Supplemental Education Can Bridge the Transition to Remote Learning

The transition to remote learning was necessary to protect public health during the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, but how did this upheaval affect students’ own experiences with learning?

Gary Blau’s research shows that students used supplemental educational materials, such as the college “video vault”, more frequently during the transition to remote learning. Blau believes that the availability of these videos helped students keep up in their classes.

Universities may be able to maintain student satisfaction and GPA by continuing to add to educational resources to supplement existing remote learning models.
