VP of Fox Board Fellows
Over 120 curious and inspirational eighth graders taught me just as much as I taught them in my first job as a 2011 Teach For America corps member. Meaningful relationships matter. Attitude shapes ability. Integrity inspires trust. My “teacher” skills – everything from communicating effectively to empowering others through servant leadership – translated directly into my subsequent work in healthcare at UPenn. Even now, as I pursue my full-time MBA, I am enhancing both the concrete analytical skills and change management techniques that will further prepare me to be a dynamic healthcare leader. Fox Board Fellows provides me the unique privilege to facilitate meaningful partnerships between my classmates and Greater Philadelphia non-profits. Together, we can make a long-term, collective impact that goes beyond any one of us alone.
