Jon is an Energy Efficiency Program Analyst at Philadelphia Gas Works (PGW). He joined PGW in May 2012 to manage implementation of the company’s energy efficiency programs for commercial and industrial customers.
Jon’s professional career began at The Committee of Seventy, a non-profit organization in Philadelphia that seeks to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of city government. As a program director, Jon led grant-funded initiatives aimed at improving the voting process in Philadelphia through education, advocacy, and volunteer-service programs.
Following this experience, Jon earned an MBA in Finance and Marketing at Temple University’s Fox School of Business, where he was awarded the Harry Halloran Social Entrepreneurship award, and the 2012 Full Time MBA Student of the Year.
At Fox, Jon served as President of Fox Net Impact, a graduate student organization concerned with social and environmental responsibility in business. Through this role, Jon was directly involved in the launch of the Fox Board Fellows (FBF) program. He saw the FBF as a unique way to provide a valuable service to nonprofits while introducing MBA students to the meaningful experience of board membership.
Jon earned a BA in Political Science from Temple University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He lives in Philadelphia and where he loves biking the city streets.
