While upskilling, continuous learning and lifelong learning have long been important tools for workforce development in knowledge-intensive organizations, the pandemic accelerated the digital transformation of organizations. This has influenced the nature of knowledge work, requiring the workforce to adapt to remote work and environmental change.

There is now renewed interest in reimagining workforce development, especially the role of on-the-job training and professional development. More importantly, institutions are questioning all aspects of the workforce development ecosystem, including motivation, inclusion and diversity, recruitment, development, engagement, culture, placement, lifelong competency, measurement and delivery.

The 4th Annual Impact Summit, organized by the Institute for Business and Information Technology (IBIT) and the Center for Ethics, Diversity and Workplace Culture (CEDWC), in partnership with the Translational Research Center (TRC) at Temple University’s Fox School of Business, will address the opportunities and challenges of workforce development for the digitally transformed era.

Limited seats are available. Interested participants must submit an application to attend.
