Successful event entrepreneurship takes time and planning. This module offers a deeper analysis of details pertinent to the organization and execution of an event, meeting, conference, sponsorship, and social event.

Ira L. Rosen joined the Temple School of Sport, Tourism, and Hospitality Management full-time after serving, from 2005-2013, as an adjunct instructor and the program director for the school’s award-winning Event Leadership Executive Certificate Program. He currently is an Associate Professor of Practice and teaches Event Management courses at the undergraduate and graduate level. From 1989 until 2017, Mr. Rosen also served as president and CEO of Entertainment on Location Inc., a full-service event production and consulting company, based in Point Pleasant, N.J He earned a Master of Arts degree in Communications and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Montclair State University. He also has received certification as a Certified Festivals and Event Executive (CFEE) from the International Festivals and Events Association.Instructions:
