What is it?

A two-semester online professional development program for motivated underclassmen. Each 1.5 credit course runs once in the Fall and once in the Spring, respectively, for a total of 3 credits upon completion of the program.

Why do it?

Are you unsure of what you want to do with a Fox Finance degree? Do you want to explore the career options that a Finance degree offers? The Finance Fellows program provides a road map for you to prepare for a career within the finance profession. Most importantly, becoming a Fellow should provide you with the background needed to be a competitive candidate for internship opportunities!

In this program you will:

Introduction to the different career paths in finance

Understand important tasks and responsibilities of the career paths

Learn how to use information sources

Build a working foundation in Excel

Develop critical thinking skills to approach finance problems

Finance Fellows 2021 cohort

This is not the Fox Fund… but you can participate in both!

The Fox Fund focuses on investment management, which is only one of many career paths in finance. The Fox Fellows provides more breadth of exposure to the field including a survey of career opportunities, relevant skillset development for different career paths, critical thinking development through case studies, and company and opportunities to network with finance industry professionals.

How do I apply?

Currently, the Fellows is invitation only. If you have questions about becoming a Finance Fellow, please contact Katie Choby, Associate Director, Finance.
