MIS Laptop Lab

The Laptop Lab was designed as a space to promote group projects. Tables are on wheels, allowing easy re-grouping randomly or by preconfigured patterns using overhead cameras to record or monitor projects. This 40-seat lab (check latest seating capacity) supports conventional computer-based instruction but is fire-walled to allow students to experiment with server systems in real time without bringing down other systems. Like all classrooms in Alter Hall, the room is fully equipped with the latest, easy-to-use technology. Additionally, this lab is connected to the MIS Laptop Lab across the hall to allow one presentation two groups.
