Wei Gao is a finance PhD student nearing the completion of his dissertation. His research focuses on behavioral finance, international finance, corporate finance, entrepreneurial finance, applied econometrics and economic growth. His work has been published at Applied Economics Letters. His working paper has been presented at major finance conferences, such as SFS Cavalcade North America, FMA European Conference, FMA Annual Conference, CFEA NYU Stern. He also has a broad teaching interest covering most subjects in finance.
Wei Gao received his PhD in economics from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and an MA in economics from Renmin University of China. Prior to attending Temple University, he was a tenure track assistant professor in economics at East Stroudsburg University. Wei also worked at the Bank of Beijing for two years prior to pursuing a PhD in Economics. Wei is looking forward to collaborations with aspiring researchers/educators.
