Biography

With almost four decades of experience as a financial executive, Walker has co-founded and run a venture-backed startup along with leading a multi-billion dollar division of a Fortune 100 company. Along with his private sector experiences, Walker has been active in the Philadelphia region working with startups and new businesses, both in and out of the university setting. Walker was President and CEO of American Express Credit Corporation, which involved running a $35 billion asset funding arm of the credit card. He was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the corporation, which included the company’s funding, investment portfolio, financial reporting, systems and marketing.
