Tianzong Wang


Tianzong Wang is a PhD student in finance at the Fox School of Business. He received his undergraduate degree in physics from Fudan University, Shanghai, China. After graduation, he attended Case Western Reserve University to pursue a master of finance. He then joined the Bank of New York Mellon as a Specialist in Model Development in the Economic Forecasting Group. With industry experience, he joined the PhD program in finance at Fox.

Tianzong has research experience in both physics and finance. In physics, he has worked on the project of classification of E. coli bacteria based on the CVTree method. In finance, he has experience with momentum trading strategy and the momentum effect.
