Biography
Rebecca Bragg serves as an assistant professor of Business and Entrepreneurial Studies at the University of Maine at Machias, the satellite campus of the University of Maine. She teaches a broad selection of courses including marketing, business communications, organizational behavior, ethics and business law. Rebecca facilitates the business program’s internships, overseeing semester-long field placements with local businesses, nonprofit organizations and government agencies. She enjoys cultivating supportive ties with community partners and participating in economic development initiatives. Rebecca’s research interest is family-owned businesses, primarily with regard to the field of succession planning. Rebecca holds a JD from Western New England University School of Law and an LLM in Closely-Held Businesses and Estate Planning. She earned her MBA from Sawyer Business School at Suffolk University and a graduate certificate in Higher Education Administration from Bay Path University. She is a licensed attorney in Connecticut and Massachusetts.
