Dissertation: Gender Effects on Firm Capital Structure
Dr. Ofra Bazel – Shoham is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Finance and the Academic Director of Part-Time MBA Conshohocken. Her research explores the impact of gender on businesses risky activities such as capital structure, M&A, and R&D. She brings a wealth of professional experience in management and finance. She was a sales and contract manager at Israel Aerospace Industries and a director of operations and finance at a successful Israeli Startup company.
Ofra earned her Executive Doctorate in Business Administration from the Fox School of Business, where she also attained a Master of Science in Finance. She received a LL.M. in Commercial Law from Israel’s Bar Ilan University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Israel’s Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
