Masud Karim


Masud Karim joined the PhD program in finance at Fox in 2015 with the Presidential Fellowship, the highest honor for incoming PhD students at Temple. He received an MA in economics from Central European University, Budapest with the George Soros Fellowship, and a BBA in accounting and information systems from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh with the Dean Award. Prior to coming to Fox, Masud worked as a financial analyst and cofounded two startups.

His research broadly falls within the field of empirical corporate finance with a special focus on corporate governance and entrepreneurial finance.
