Joshua Khavis joined the Ph.D. Program in 2014. Joshua received his Masters degree in Taxation from Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business. He also holds a dual B.B.A. degree in Finance and Information Systems from Pace University from which he has graduated Summa Cum Laude in less than 3.5 years and successfully completed his University’s honors program. After finishing Pace, Mr. Khavis was awarded the prestigious US Fulbright Fellowship and as a result has conducted capital markets research in Israel for a year. Prior to joining Temple, Joshua was part of the NYC startup scene where he oversaw operations, accounting and finance for a number of startups. He has also worked in the fixed income technology division at Barclays Investment Bank. Joshua’ research interests lie in Financial and Managerial accounting and he is especially interested in crowdsourcing technologies’ implications for the accounting field.
