(NOTE: Please be aware these opportunities are ONLY available to freshman, sophomore, and junior students eligible for a summer stipend)
Summer Educational Enhancement Stipends are intended to provide outstanding Temple students admitted to the University Honors Program as first-year students beginning in Fall 2013, including President’s Scholars or Provost’s Scholars, with the opportunity to spend the summer advancing such students’ educational goals outside of the classroom through funded experiential learning opportunities.
Specific eligibility, guidelines and application can be found here.
The Fox School of Business encourages students to utilize these opportunities to enhance their personal and professional development. As internship offerings and research opportunities become available, they will be listed here and updated as needed. Students should consult with the Education Abroad office (Tuttleman 200) for approved study abroad options.
The process for all Fox Freshman students submitting a Summer Stipend application will be as follows:
- Bring your application to Lori Roseman in the Fox Honors office (Alter Hall, Lower Level 30). You can also send it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
- The application will be initially reviewed to see if it is complete, and you will receive an email confirmation it has been submitted if it is. Any incomplete applications will be returned, citing the reason.
- Once your application has been vetted and approved in the Fox Honors office, it will then be forwarded to the Fox Dean’s office for school approval. If it is approved at that level, it will then be sent to the Senior Vice Provost’s office for final approval and initial disbursement processing.
