Accelerated 4+1

Start your master’s education in the junior year of your Temple University undergraduate education, and reduce the time needed to complete your graduate degree—while benefiting from undergraduate tuition rates for a portion of your graduate education.

Here’s how the 4+1 program works:

  • Apply spring semester of your sophomore year.
  • Use 12 credits of your elective space to take graduate courses during your junior and senior years—taking advantage of your undergraduate tuition rates.
  • Complete the remaining credits for your master’s in the year following your undergraduate graduation.
  • Earn your undergraduate degree and your master’s degree in just 4+1 years.
