The Online MBA program at Temple University’s Fox School of Business ranks in the Top 30 nationally among graduate business programs in the 2013 Best Online Business Programs rankings by U.S. News & World Report.

Fox is No. 28 among the 148 programs ranked in the latest U.S. News survey, released Jan. 14. This year, U.S. News based its rankings on student engagement; admissions selectivity; peer reputation; faculty credentials and training; and student services and technology.

The Fox School scored particularly high in peer reputation ( No. 8 ) and student services and technology (No. 7). Last year, the first in which U.S. News evaluated online programs, Fox ranked No. 8 in student services and technology and was one of 14 honor roll recipients among graduate business programs. This year, the honor roll designations were replaced by overall rankings.

“The Fox Online MBA program enables students to earn the highly ranked, accredited and respected Fox MBA without putting their professional careers on hold,” Dean M. Moshe Porat said. “Our Online MBA students benefit from a dynamic learning community that fosters innovation and collaboration, and they are taught by our elite faculty. We’re proud to once again earn recognition as one of the nation’s best online MBA programs.”

In the Fox Online MBA program, students can earn their degree in as little as 20 months; engage in course activities in a 24/7, on-demand, mobile-friendly format; and collaborate with faculty and peers through WebEx web-conferencing technology.

The program begins with a weeklong residency on Temple University’s Main Campus that includes a leadership course, networking, team building, professional development and special events. Each course is delivered over four weeks, and the program has multiple start dates throughout the year.

Merit scholarships are available, as is a scholarship incentive program for Temple alumni and for corporate partners that have two or more employees enrolled in the program at one time. Financial aid counseling is offered to all students, and the Fox School and Temple support the Yellow Ribbon Program for military personnel and veterans.

The Fox Online MBA features the same world-renowned faculty and high-impact curriculum as its highly ranked, AACSB-accredited traditional MBA.
