Steve Jobs’ retirement from Apple is hitting the world hard — and not just the tech sector. James Moustafellos, associate director of the Center for Design+Innovation at Temple’s Fox School of Business, explains that Jobs is a sort of American hero who saved a dying company, which, under his watch, has created products that truly changed culture and the way we interact. “He is, for many, the face of the company. I have two children, they’re 8 and 10 years old, and they’ve been tracking his health because, as far as they’re concerned, he is the company. And I think for the layman, that’s probably the case. Everyone identifies the vision of Apple with Steve Jobs.”
