The realities of business management are demonstrated through the many corporate and governmental speakers who address our students in the classroom as well as through networking events organized by the Fox School’s Graduate Career Management Center. Also, faculty and administration ensure that students are informed of the wealth of speaker engagements open to our students.
Examples of events that we offer include are our Wachovia Speaker Series, Networking events (one in the fall and one in the spring), Corporate Leadership Series, Executive Speaker Series and our annual Spring Gala.

Networking Events
Because you are not following the herd and have chosen to follow your specific career path, networking is an essential component to your career leadership. You will use this skill throughout your career. The Fox School organizes many opportunities and events where you can interact with local alumni and corporate representatives in the area.
Speaker Engagements
You will have the opportunity to hear from alumni and corporate representatives in specific functional fields speak to their career successes and strategies on achieving career goals.
Corporate Leadership Series
These half-day seminars deliver the opportunity for you and your boss or colleagues to hear presentations on such topics as Succession Planning and Great Places to Work, delivered by experts in the field. Currently co-sponsored by the Federal Reserve bank and the Gallup Organization.
Executive Speaker Series
Leaders in their field from the region's prominent industries share with students their career progression and inside stories of their organizations.
Spring Gala
Take time from your classes at this annual event. Students, staff, and faculty come together for a night of social fun, dancing, and food. The gala is a time where guests find balance in their work schedules, relaxing and celebrating the new spring season and semester.
