National Association of Black Accountants
Career development and community service are NABA goals. Guest speakers from the Big Four accounting firms, as well as companies such as AT&T and the IRS, collect resumes and offer career advice. Members receive unlimited networking opportunities at NABA's Student Regional Conference, and Big Four office tours. Members gain a competitive edge through resume writing and interview workshops. They also receive professional experience through the VITA tax program, a hands-on opportunity to prepare income taxes. In addition, NABA sponsors the Adopt-a-School program and in-house mentoring programs. The Temple chapter is one of 120 professional and student chapters.
