Dr. Sreenivas Konda, Assistant Professor of Statistics, has been with the Fox School of Business for nearly two years, but he has been a lecturer at the university since 2006. A member of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics since 2006, Dr. Konda earned both his MS and PhD in Statistics from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. He has had work published in IEEE Transactions, and he has presented departmental seminars at the University of Pennsylvania and at Case Western. Dr. Konda is conducting two ongoing research studies: “Filtering the Memory Parameter” and “A Statistical Approach to Estimate the Disagreement Prices” which measures the bargaining power of hospitals and estimates the minimum price a hospital is willing to accept and the maximum price an insurance provider is willing to pay. Dr. Konda is also in the process of writing the results of his study on “Asymptotics for Time-Varying Autoregressive Processes.”
