Neha Mittal (Ph.D. in Transportation Engineering – Rutgers University 2008) focuses her research on logistics, supply-chain management, and project management. Her papers have appeared in the Journal of Transport Policy, Transport Reviews, Transportation Research Record (National Academy of Sciences) and International Journal of Information Systems and Supply Chain Management. During her graduate program, Neha worked on prestigious projects funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF), Federal Highway Authority, and Port Authority of New York/New Jersey. She has made several presentations at national and international level and has chaired conference sessions. Neha serves as a reviewer for the Transportation Research Record-Journal of Transportation Research Board and the Socio-Economic Planning Sciences. She is also a partner in an IT consulting firm. Before joining Temple University, Neha was teaching as an adjunct lecturer at the Rutgers Business School in Camden, NJ. Dr. Mittal has won several awards for excellence in education in her bachelors and graduate degree programs. She received her Master of Science in Transportation Engineering from Rutgers University in October of 2004 and her Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) from Gujarat University, India, in 2000. Neha earned the highest honors in her Bachelors’ program and was awarded six gold medals for her outstanding academic performance at Gujarat University.
