Dr. Monica Wadhwa is an Associate Professor in the Department of Marketing and Supply Chain Management.
Prior to joining Fox School, she was a faculty at INSEAD, where she taught in the full-time MBA and Executive education programs. She also developed and taught PhD courses on Consumer Behavior and Decision Neuroscience.
Wadhwa’s research focuses on the understanding the drivers of consumer decision making. Her recent work investigates ways in which consumers’ wellbeing could be enhanced.
Her work has appeared in leading journals, including the Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Consumer Research and Psychological Science. Her work on consumer motivation received Citation of Excellence award from Emerald Management Reviews as the top 50 articles known for their novelty and current managerial relevance.
Popular accounts of her work have been featured in numerous media outlets including NPR, Harvard Business Review, Le Monde and the Atlantic. She has presented her work at different international conferences and events such as TedX.
She received her PhD in Marketing from Stanford University. She attained a Master’s in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from India’s Tata Institute of Social Sciences, and a Bachelor’s in Sociology from India’s Delhi University.
