Kiranmoy Das joins the Fox School from Penn State University, where he was a graduate student in the Department of Statistics and recently earned his PhD. He also gained teaching experience as a teaching assistant at the University of Florida for six semesters.
Dr. Das has authored 12 papers and three book chapters, and he has given 10 talks and presentations. His research interests include statistical genetics, Bayesian Semi-paramteric methods, longitudinal data analysis, survival data analysis, multivariate analysis and MCMC algorithm.
Dr. Das is a member of the American Statistical Association, Society of Industrial and Applied Mathematics, International Indian Statistical Association, and International Society for Bayesian Analysis. He obtained his master’s degree in Statistics from the prestigious Indian Statistical Institute.
